How To Make A Vision Board
If you get it in your mind, you can hold it in your hand … Sit with that statement for a minute. Isn’t it good? I remember the first time I heard it. It was love at first “hear”!
So, let’s talk VISION BOARDS and how to make one that is super amazing, without cutting and pasting! Hello CANVA, I love you!
If you’ve never done a vision board, I feel you. This was all new to me and became a “thing” for me after I became a business owner. Basically, it is a way to capture your annual goals in a pretty, appealing way. And keeping your vision board front and center will help you stay focused when distractions come a calling and we all know they will.
So, let me walk you through how I make a VISION BOARD using one of my favorite tools, CANVA!
Once you’ve made your goals for the quarter or year, find images that highlight the feelings or outcome of your goals. Need help setting goals?

After you have your goals set and images that match, make a list of things you want to do, experiences you would like to have, and places you want to see. Then find images that capture each.
Using Canva to Create a Gorgeous Vision Board
STEP 1: Go to https://www.canva.com/
STEP 2: Click use CUSTOM DIMENSIONS in the upper right hand corner.
STEP 3: Enter 2550 by 3300 pixels and click CREATE NEW DESIGN.
Use these dimensions because it will print perfectly on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.
STEP 4: Choose your preferred grid layout (at the left side).
STEP 5: Upload images by clicking UPLOADS (at the left side panel) and choose the images you want for your grid.
STEP 6: Drag and drop your preferred images onto the layout.
STEP 7: Rename the title of the design/dream board and click DOWNLOAD and choose your preferred file type.

STEP 8: Print and display the gorgeous dream board you just created!
Isn’t it awesome how those simples steps create clarity and result in such a pretty presentation of your goals and dreams for the year?
